It does sound cool, but some of us are only poor college students. The most we can afford is a trip to the Super Target down the road _________________ "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." - Gandalf the Grey |

My intent was not to have the whole of SST come to our gathering (but of course all are welcome) but to take advantage of the relative closeness geographically of some of our members. Perhaps others will be inspired to host their own local/regional gatherings.
So, to keep the ball rolling, I've heard from a handful of folks here and privately. Does anybody have any stong opinions that they'd like to express about what we might want to do?
And how does sometime after the new year sound to those interested. Maybe the 22nd of January? Just a thought.
As for the location, Fredricksburg is the front runner at the moment, but far from carved in stone.
As for what to do, I'm at more of a loss. It seems that seeing a movie would somehow be appropriate, but wouldn't foster any kind of conversation or interaction. That defeats the purpose. I'm still leaning toward a lunch gathering (who doesn't like to eat?).

When I think of Medieval Times, this always comes to mind. _________________ "Don't you think that idea is a little half-baked?

Well a couple people have already asked me and I've thought it over. I know I would like to go as long as I don't have something come up. The only problem for me though is transportation. Is there anyone else in southeastern Virginia that wants to go? _________________ It's like something out of that twilighty show about that zone. - Homer Simpson
