Seeing as we have a celebrations thread we might as well get a frustration thread, and I'll do the honors of starting:
This morning my landlord came knocking on my door telling me there was something about my car. When I went outside and looked some idiot kids had smashed in one of my windows... And they didn't even steal anything! So this was just a mindless act of vandalism. So monday will mostly consist of phones to the insurance company and car repair shop and a visit to the police to report the crime.

Chan-man, sorry dude. I'm not sure what hurts more though: that they broke your window, or that once they got in, they didn't see anything they wanted (sorry if it's too soon to joke).
I've had many breakins to my vehicles in the past. Do you park in a lot on in a driveway?
Cool idea for a thread. I think people tend to have more frustrations than celebrations. _________________ "insert your own clever quote here.... I'm too lazy to do it." |

Sorry to hear that Chandler. On the bright side though, they didn't steal anything... _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

Schroddie is right you know. They could have always stolen your car. That happened to my dad a couple of months ago. _________________ It's like something out of that twilighty show about that zone. - Homer Simpson

*groan* Don't start me on cars...
One car stolen
One car broken in three times but as I have a steel clutch clamp not stolen
And last week, 1 side mirror torn off by a kick and probably kicked to the end of the street where I found it (I had the mark of the shoe on the mirror). Screwed it back on while waiting to get the car to the garage, had it torn again...
I do not count the stolen antennas and the bumps and scratches due to parking in narrow streets...
My new dream car :

Jeez. Having a car broken into three times. That reminds me of when my dad had his car stolen. My neighbor said that a lady down the street had her car stolen three times by the same group of kids. On that last time they went for a joy ride, ran into a tree and all got killed. Kind of ironic. A twist of fate with a little bit of overkill. But kind of fitting as a form of justice, don't you think? Three strikes and you're out. _________________ It's like something out of that twilighty show about that zone. - Homer Simpson

That reminds me of my good old days in France. I sympathize also with you Caray...
About 2 years ago, my parents got their car stolen (in France of course). The police found back the car (for once the Police does something in France!!)... The car was able to be identified by the license plate in the trunk. The car was completely burnt, the tires melted on the ground... _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?
