I believe the santa smileys are an annual thing. I'm pretty sure I've seen them here before.

Someone stop me if I am wrong. This is (to my recolection) the second christmas that we have the seasonal smileys. I believe they came with the conversion of the site from it's "traditional" beginnings in HTML to the PHP/NUKE version that we all know and love so much. Prior to that we all had cricks in our knecks to see any kind of smiley. :~)

Christmas starts as soon as Thanksgiving ends here. Why not? _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I agree, but they were playing it before that down here. We usually go shopping at 1 a.m. they morning after thanksgiving, the malls have great deals. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

Some of my neighbors and quite a few retail
establishment in this area rebelled, and the
Christmas season started right after Haloween.
I was at least trying to hold out until December.
I would have made it too if it wasn't for you meddling kids...
Also, it seems that (at the moment at least) all
but mr cool have reverted to the standard
smileys (which will happen eventually anyway,
then this thread will be really confusing to new
members).
