It's like a no-win situation. First, we want to pick everything we hear, and we want the request time/quantity limit changed so we can pick more songs. Then the queue gets so long that we all complain that it is too long. But then we don't get to pick frequently enough. Then there is not enough variety. Then there is a bunch of stuff playing that we don't like. Then we have so many tracks we never get to hear...blah blah blah...

Idea Why don't you all just stop requesting every time you can request again and let SAM pick some songs for you?

I agree pix - when i first came I requested every time it said "ready" but now I rarely pay attention. or actually forget. But i do like the new random feature. I use it about 99% of the time now (but I still have to have drac first thing in the morning Wink )

Hey, Jeric.
At some point, I say we do no repeats for one month.
Why?
Because we can.

I like the idea.

my problem is that i forget which albums are here and which aren't so i default to a certain few requests. i agree with thur that i don't request as often as i used to, mostly because i get too busy at work and forget. random request is a great idea and the next time i make a request, i'll have to try it out.
