I like the music, it'd be nice to have it here. _________________ Oscar Predictions 2006 and Movie Reviews |

Okay, out of curiosity, I had to check Clint Eastwood composing? Wow, after reading the revies and listening to the clips, I'm curious as to what you like about it? _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

In my opinion Clint Eastwood is just a wannabe (as a composer I mean). The main theme starts in a minor scale but suddenly changes into mayor (in "sad" scenes). Thats just not right. Music is about feelings and minor scales provoque sad feelings. And, by the way, you dont have to be a composer to know that.
And not just that... after listening it for a while I just get sick of it.
Nice try Clint...
This is just my opinion. No ofense
PS: Sorry for my crappy english |

So you must ALWAYS use a minor scale for sad scenes?
Heh, I'm half tempted to introduce you to our "these two scores sound alike!" listeners, so you can destroy each other. |

First of, it's my opinion. There is not a right one, it's just mine. Im not questioning Gustavo's taste. Music is not about right or wrong in the end but about likeness.
And Im not saying that you ALWAYS need a minor scale to add sadness to your songs, but it's what you have most of the time (if not all the time). Im not inventing.

Why do people always feel the need to state the obvious that what they say is an opinion?
Fact is, you made an absolute statement, and when I called you on it you changed your story to only, "most of the time." |

I just cant think of a sad tune constructed on a mayor scale dude. My knowledge on music is not "as good as yours" I gess x_D I was just playing on statistics.

And one more thing before I go to bed... Im "stating the obvious" because may be somebody thinks Im stating a "rule" that cant be changed. I was just saying that I basicly dont like that soundtrak because the use of mayor scale. Thats it man... just sit back and relax or you are gonna blow your head off (or someone elses xD) _________________ "Sin moral ni prejuicios. Sin criterios ni opiniones. Gotta love newbies who have just shown up and claim to have a lot of respect for this place yet don't bother to figure anything out before they begin spouting their mouth off. |

S1L3nCe, I don't mind a healthy debate. I just ask to please stop using profanities. I edited one of your posts and now I see this "PS: R U 4 Real? Fu*k!" I'm not sure if that was edited but don't do it again please. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Now, just because two people hate this CD (or Eastwood, I don't know) it seems everybody in this site does.
Now I say goodbye to another good soundtrack that could be added here. _________________ Oscar Predictions 2006 and Movie Reviews |
