Maybe a little bit off topic, but how much of these 20,000 members are 'active' (say logged in in the last months)? |

It's okay. But you do bring up a good point - it would be nice to know a "real" number of active members, like a SSTland census. _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

I don't think we could so a census accurately since many people don't bother visiting the site, they just use the stream. _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |

Well, we can figure out some numbers for "active" members.
300-700 people listen to the stream every day. Not all of them are members, like my husband who sometimes listens at work but lets me make him requests.
250 or so people are ranked at Ensign or above in the forum rankings, with at least ten posts per person. Some of those people may no longer be active, but that's something.
In any case, I find it unlikely that all 20,000 are truly "active." At least a few thousand of those people probably signed up years ago and then forgot the site existed. I've suggested a purge in the past, and would again, but I might get accused of being a downer. |

I look at the counter as people who cared enough to take the time to register. Visitors to this site, even if it's brief. Kinda like having a party at your house and people come that aren't really your friends, but you want them there anyway. Acquaintances! People you don't know well enough to love them or hate them, they just kinda of exist in a polite/civil way.

Yes they at least know there is a place called StreamingSoundTracks. And they can pass it on to others who are interested _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

If you look close, you can see his first request and the USA country flag in the members section. _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |

Maybe we can contact him and take a collection to buy him the Soundtrack he requested first? It was "The Last Winter" _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |
