It's from Carmina Burana, I believe O Fortuna is the correct track.
I kept thinking that was it but the trailer didn't have quite enough of it, Angelus In Medio Ignis was close. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

It does sound like it's from Carmina Burana. I can't be sure though seeing as I haven't heard the whole thing. However I can definitively say that it is not from O Fortuna, see as I've listened to that a number of times. _________________ It's like something out of that twilighty show about that zone. - Homer Simpson

It's definitely from Carmina - I went to a website and listened to the same exact piece, they didn't say which was playing at the time. _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

yes, but i didn't bookmark it. But google Carmina Burana it's like one of the top 5. (Sorry, it drove me nuts all night and this morning I'm tired of researching.) _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

So I just got done listening to the whole Burana. Similar, but different. I went back and listened to the three clips I posted and there are subtle differences in each. This leads me to believe, perhaps wrongly, that this isn't one piece of "stock" music. |

What, or who, are you referring to? If it's me, I do know what a sticky is and I read the one pertaining to this request along with the forum FAQ. If I missed something that would answer the trailer request please let me know. |

Laboque don't be so offended. If Cocles meant you, he would have said it. But then now you've set yourself up for him _________________ 'He looked at her, and being a man whom pity deeply stirred, it seemed to him that her loveliness amid her grief would pierce his heart.' —Faramir's thoughts on Éowyn |

I know that the piece is from Carmina Burana. The sample you supplied had subtle differences from my CD of the opera... but that could be from editing.
It's possible that the subtle differences you heard Laboque are from different recordings or different translations as well as from the editing. _________________ "It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him." ~ J.R.R. Tolkien

No dance needed. Like Thur said, had I meant you I would have said so... and probably called you a few names.
I was speaking in general. |
