Ok, now we have started talking about this in the "requests: popup or integrated" thread.
Personally, I really liked how it was, not having to scroll down to click on a link and all. |

The problem we had was that people were complaining about not being able to find what they want in the menu.

I agree with shock. I liked that I could see the entire menu without scrolling.

i liked it at the top better too, but i think it would help if the faq was changed so it matched, most complaints i got was the faq says it's to the side but i don't see it (even though it was right there at the top)

I'd like to have a nice menu on top again that works on all browsers and allows right clicking so you can open in a new window. It'll come one of these days. In the mean time, we'll stick to the left.

My favorite keyboards are the ones that offer the function keys on the left AND on the top.
Likewise, why not have both styles of menus here too?
