Sideways at least got one _________________ We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

A pity Scorcese didn't win... again. Well, the fellow should get started on his next film (actually it appears he his, it'll be a remake of the Hong Kong film Internal Affairs and will star Leonardo DiCaprio (I've seen people noting him as Scorcese's new DeNiro) and Matt Damon). His bad luck will have to end sometime. Maybe by attrition he'll wear down the Academy enough to give him an award, and it shouldn't be a lifetime achievement award either. That's sort of like saying, "Sorry for not winning during your career. Here's a consolation prize."

I was very disappointed with the Oscars this year. It felt like America has a veryshort attention span, it forgot all the movies that were awesome that came out last summer, so they just gave it to the movies fresh in their mind. I haven't seen Million Dollar Baby or The Aviator, But seriously, i think something went totally wrong this year with them winning pretty much every award! _________________ www.stupidvideos.com Go here |
