Anyone know the Hisaishi music in the Japanese Trailers for "Spirited Away" (as seen in DVD extras)? Haunting piano & low strings...
It seems to be maybe from the "Laputa" image album, and is heard a little in the scene where they sprawl exhausted after reaching the castle in the movie. |

Only ever heard it on the DVD, sorry. It's only in the Japanese trailers, the first half dozen or so of them at least.
BTW, like the PomPom avatars. I'm more of a Homsar sort of person, myself. |

R_R, I know this one The track comes from the american (redone) version of Castle in the Sky soundtrack, more precisely track 17, 'The Lost Paradise'.
BTW, I love this soundtrack, because 16 years separe the first Laputa soundtrack from this one, and you can really feel the difference between the two. A must-have for all Hisaishi fans, I'd say _________________ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" - Blade Runner |

But the question is: which Laputa ST do you want to get
I personally have 3 (the original, the american remake and the symphonic) and there are also the image album plus some hitech (berk) album.
I have nearly all the Ghibli/Hisaishi CDs, so next CDs on my list would be the Piano Stories series that I discovered thanks to SST and to you TreeBob _________________ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" - Blade Runner |
