Welcome to the club Smile

A little scoop while we're here: Hisaishi scored a french movie called "Sunny & l'Eléphant"

The soundtrack will be released on the 4th of December. Stay tuned!

I forgot to look in the forums myself. I was a fan of Hisaishi long before SST was created. I should probably get my official card.

For french fans, note that the Ponyo movie will be presented at the "International Comics Festival of Angouleme" this year.

For all the HFC members...

Great videos of Hisaishi's Ghibli music concert @ Budokan, August 2008! (stereo!)

Nausicaa Of The Valley Of Wind

Ponyo On The Cliff By The Sea (songs)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exxTdoq3-Rw&fmt=18

The second singer (Mai) is Hisaishi's daughter, who also did "lan lanlala" Nausicaa song when she was little Smile

LAPUTA: Castle In The Sky (song, chorus + children's brass band)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVedc-xB2YE&fmt=18

Porco Rosso
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlFhMxZM8YM&fmt=18

Howl's Moving Castle
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nh44vDpH9A&fmt=18

Spirited Away (song)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JCtglwdrcA&fmt=18

Nausicaa suite
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3nRU7qgilg&fmt=18

Kiki's Delivery Service suite
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaULGElp0GA&fmt=18

Ponyo suite
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTP70OgaCK0&fmt=18

My Neighbor Totoro suite
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm9B_gQJoTs&fmt=18

... Mononoke with huge orchestra + chorus is really jaw-dropping! Surprised Ponyo suite is also amazing.
I really regret I didn't go to this concert... but actually, when I noticed, it's already sold out! Shocked

As I really liked these videos, I found out that the concert will be aired again:
- 28/12/2008 from 17:30 to 19:43 on NHK-BS
- 2/1/2009 from 15:55 to 17:38 on NHK-BS2

Only our Japanese friends will be able to see it, though...
