For those who may not be familiar with this movie and the story behind it. It is the story of a group of women interred in a Japanese POW camp during WWII. To keep up their spirits two of their number transcribed from memory and arranged for female voices a number of piano and orchestral works which were then performed by the camp choir. Their arrangements survived the war and were used in this movie.
