My husband has this idea to start up his own company. Our big problem is, we don't know where to start. He's been checking on prices for the equipment and trying to make an ideal budget for staffing. We just don't know how to get the money that we'd need to start it. Anyone out there own their own business, or have an idea on where to look for grants, loans, etc?
Any help would be appreciated!  |

Wow, thats a difficult project to do. Depending on what the company does, you may be intitled to Goverment support. I.E. Loans, Tax-breaks. Also I hear Omni American Credit Union has a special on their Bussiness Loans, with low APR rates. Well, theres not much I can help with though. The only thing I've ever Remotely done is completing some Tax fillers for my friends online business.

SCORE is great. Peach and I used them for advice to start our bookstore.
The SBA (Small Business Association) also has a lot of good information for small businesses within the United States.
