I think people who like videogames and Media Ventures-like stuff may enjoy this. You can hear the soundtrack here:

Thanks for the link, Zir. Wow! What a beautifully designed web site!! It's neat that they have the character & a description pop up for each track. It's also very cool that you can download the sheet music.
Are you sending this to SST? |

2, lol! Although Burke gets a big gold star from me for his infectious Kameo's Quest, use of multiple themes, and nifty bassoon piece, it's hard to tell from the clips if there was sustained development. Wish more videogame scores were recorded with a big orchestra- City of Prague Philharmonic really adds another dimension to this. |

I'm surprised Sumthing hasn't sent this to me already. I will check into it. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I went to this web site and it great! I heard most of the music clips and it was good to show the descripions of the songs I've played. Thanks Zirael!
I can't wait to hear this soundtrack on SST. |

The composer of Kameo, Steve Burke and I have been in correspondence. He asked me to relay this:

Hi! I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for mentioning the Kameo soundtrack (www.kameosoundtrack.com) on this forum. It’s really great seeing it up there as Soundtrack of the Month, and as this is the first soundtrack to a game I’ve composed, it’s nice to see it doing so well. Hopefully I’ll have some more downloadable content such as music scores as PDF’s, MIDI files, and other bits and bobs that you might find interesting on the Kameo soundtrack website fairly soon. Also, thanks to Jeric for putting together such a fab website for all us soundtrack enthusiasts. Ta very much, Steve |

Awesome! It's great to get feedback from the composers themselves, especially up-and-coming ones. People seem to love the CD - it's getting a lot of requests. The cover is beautiful, too. Good luck to Steve! Can't wait to hear what's next. |

Wow that awesome Jeric. That is what makes SST great man. Hope to see more Composers come and see how much we love there work and that it get others to listen to there work too. _________________ If you have it you don't need it. Cool, never though one post would have such an effect. Thanks Jeric for following up and getting this for SST. Like Twopop, I'm looking forward to future game soundtracks from Steve! |
