A Lord of the Rings musical? |
I'll brave the trek, and come back with maple syrup and fond memories of Elvish and Halfling melodic fare. |

It's too f****** cold! I'll wait till the spring to brave your strange world of Ca-Na-Da. |

Either your entire country is in permafrost, or I am a felon (unlike Martha Stewart or 50 Cent) barred from entry through your border... I'll just wait till it comes to my neighbourhood. |

Hobbits should never be allowed to sing or dance ever again. I've petitioned my congressman to see to this matter. |

Aren't there so few female roles in LOTR? I know someone is going to drag me to see this. Why fight it? |

The world premiere takes place in Toronto. I know a few that have auditioned.
The link is simple enough: http://www.lotr.com/
I'm hoping this will get extended long enough for me to get cheapie tickets, like the "Time for T.O." promotions they have when our tourism numbers run into a funk. (tix, dinner, hotel, and shopping for 2 for under $200 USD). I've heard rumours of a Valentine's Day Special, but nothing more.
It runs from FEB 2 to JUNE 26, pending run extension, touring options, or a second home (most likely Vancouver, New York, or London)
I'd let you guys crash here, but I'll be gone for most of Feb. _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

Unfortunately, I'm not good and singing or dancing; at best I will be a Hobbit doing promotion. Better glue some more hair on my feet if they're going to put me outside.
Of course in April, that wouldn't be an issue. _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

Thanks for the info! I'm probably going to be taking my (required) theatre class next semester. Maybe I can use that as one of my 2 performances I go & see.
Not too sure about singing hobbits, but I'm willing to try anything once _________________ "Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it." ~ Marshall McLuhan |

Hobbits I can fathom... but can you imagine orcs? They don't take kindly to remembering lines unless you persuade them with red hot branding irons...

Somebody should ask him... *yells* HEY MORPH, AREN'T YOU WORKING ON THIS SHOW?
Hopefully he heard that.
I just saw a bit of the rehearsal on the evening news, and a new television commercial. Seems like they're trying to put it out as a Christmas present option. _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

Hmmm....I know I'm about 2 hours out of Toledo. How far away is Toronto from Toledo? *shrugs* Thank God for MapQuest! _________________ "Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it." ~ Marshall McLuhan |

I used to use Mapquest... but now I'm more of an Expedia and Google kind of guy. _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.

Yes, I've seemed to notice Mapquest takes you to somewhere you don't want to go _________________ "Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it." ~ Marshall McLuhan |

It's enticing at first, and it's given you a sense of power, but then you realize that it's not really worth it. You see things, and you think you're losing it.
