This may be deleted if it's against anything.
But I've seen pictures of some of the more famous film score composers and realised one thing. Aside from Danny Elfman (who's not that young either), are all film score composers old ?
Who are the young ones ? |

I do not think so, there is definitely a new breed of composers that are coming up the ranks that are pretty young. Here is my list of favorites:
Harry Gregson Williams
Klaus Badelt
John Powell
Brian Tyler
Michael Giacchino
I think the film score world is in good hands for the future especially with these composers I listed above. I look forward to hearing what others think regarding the young up and coming composers of the future. |

i have to admit that Harry Gregson Williams has certainly proven himself as one of the upcoming composers that would carry on the legacy of talented and fresh film scores. I'm very impressed by his work in Narnia.
Is there by any chance a site where we can read about the various composers in film ? |

I think Edward Shearmur and Marco Beltrami are still young. When given the opportunity, they've composed some fine work (The Count of Monte Cristo; Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow- Shearmur, Terminator 3; Hellboy; I, Robot- Beltrami). _________________ "I wanna introduce you to a personal friend of mine.
