Ah, intense scores are my specialty:
Aliens (James Horner)
Futile Escape
Conan the Barbarian (Basil Poledouris)
Riders of Doom
Battle of the Mounds (similar to previous, but a better ending)
Bram Stoker's Dracula (Wojciech Kilar)
The Storm
First Knight (Jerry Goldsmith)
Arthur's Farewell
Last of the Mohicans (Trevor Jones)
Massacre/Canoes (mostly the massacre part)
Glory (James Horner)
Preparations for Battle (intense in different ways)
Charging Fort Wagner
Star Wars (John Williams)
Ep 1: Duel of the Fates
Ep 6: Final Duel/Into the Death Star
(The duel part--that male chorus gives me shivers every time. Also called Battle of Endor II or III or something.)
The Lord of the Rings (Howard Shore)
FOTR: A Knife in the Dark
FOTR: The Bridge of Khazad Dum
ROTK: The End of All Things(?) (I don't know this score well, but one of those tracks is truly intense.)
Hmmm, I just know I'm forgetting something....

"Hi Jack" from Drop Zone is ultra-intense. _________________ "You have been chosen to represent Earth in Mortal Kombat. Be warned. Although your souls are protected from Shao Kahn's evil: your lives are not. I cannot interfere any longer as your Earth is now ruled by the Outworld gods." |

I don't understand these three. Nothing in those tracks sound "intense" to me. _________________ "You have been chosen to represent Earth in Mortal Kombat. Be warned.
