I've been watching a lot of action/adventure movies lately, which inspired me to create this poll. Who from this list can most likely draw your interest to his films just by his name alone? The forum allows limited options, so I probably left out quite a few.

You know who I would have liked to see make more movies? Dolph Lundgren. He has a certain endearing presence, and he kinda fizzled with a few bad roles. (Yet we allow Steven Seagal too much freedom to do things.) He does a better Russian accent than Arnie, and he's much more coherent than his Universal Soldier co-star Jean-Claude Van Damme. He was a lot better than many of the movies he was in (The Punisher, for one).

Definitely Harrison Ford. Indiana Jones is just a huge icon of the adventure genre.

What?! Where's Mel Gibson? Wink
Excellent list, Johnny! I really loved all of Bruce's Die Hard flicks, but if stranded on a desert island with only one DVD to choose from, I'd have to go with Ahnold's. Great job.

Neither is Steven Seagal, yet here he is. If the question was "who is most likely to render you unconscious by his home-made musk," then he gets my vote! It apparently gets so bad, people refuse to share a limo with him! And he has no sense of humour about his quirkiness. Kind of whiny for a tough guy. He's an action diva, but it's not proportionate to his on-screen presence.

I especially liked Dolph Lundgren in Red Scorpion. A real early action archetype there. (And he was HE-MAN, dang it! Mr. Green)

I vote Harrison Ford. I've enjoyed most action films he's been in.

come to think of it, how could I go past Sean Connery from all those Bond films.
I mean Thunderball was such a great film.

I guess I'm the oddball, but I chose Jet Li. Every movie he has been in has been fantastic. The first movie I saw him in was Lethal Weapon 4. Wow! What a way to make an entrance! The thing that amazed me, that in the movie he's so cruel, yet, when he interviewed on Jay Leno, he was constantly laughing and smiling. He's a very honorable man. If you check out his website, he has some very interesting philosophical ideas.

I like Willis and Ford. Willis offers more personality and comedic timing to his roles in action flicks while Ford brings a distinguished quality in his roles and he just seems to fit in swashbuckling roles.

Okay, since you asked so nicely, I'll tell you. Press the Quote button on the top-right corner of the message you are quoting from.

You know who needs to make another movie? Tony Jaa. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0368909/ Mr. Green
