The limited edition of Narnia contains 2 cd's which include an extended cut of the score by Gregson-Williams, plus an extended single of the end title song and some "inspired-by" tracks by several pop artists.
It also comes with a DVD with interviews with Harry and director Andrew Adamson, a photo gallery, interviews and music videos by pop artists (Jeremy Camp, Bethany Dillon, etc). Plus a 40-page booklet.
Disney is having some trouble with a few of the cues, so it is not final if it will have the extended cut of the score (some 30 minutes longer than the regular release I'm told). Anyway, the score is just fantastic and any of the cd releases will be great.
I'll post here when I receive news if the extended cut of Harry's score was included or not.
Hope this helps. _________________ The good people sleep much better at night than the bad people. Of course, the bad people enjoy the waking hours much more. |

I think I'll go with the regular version of The Chonicles of Narnia soundtrack. |

My mother picked up the regular CD for my brother as a Christmas present. She said that the cover has a 3D look to it for those who plan on purchasing it. _________________ "Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it." ~ Marshall McLuhan |

I was surprised how much of the Narnia score was missing and wanted to hear more! I really hope Disney puts out an extended release with that extra 30 minutes. The DVD had the behind the making of Narnia mini documentaries that I saw on the Apple site before. |

Too bad the Limited Edition doesn't have that beautiful cover artwork of the regular one. It would be a lot more fun to look at in the Now Playing box. |

I recently bought the regular soundtrack and it has some awful digital rights management stuff. I can only play it with the software included on the CD! I'm so annoyed by this that it has completely ruined my enjoyment of the music
Does the Limited edition also have such crap on it? |

I just bought the Limited. Its one cd with the longer list of cues, but I'd have to sit down and compare the two. We might be looking at apples and oranges here, with a few mixed breeds. It also has a DVD with it, with all the aforementioned stuff.
I've been playing the cd in my car, and no problems, but haven't yet stuck it into my pc to see if it freaks. |

When I tried to play the Limited CD on my PC, the little window came up with links to the Disney website and I had to run an .exe file to play it so I think similar software is on it. |
