Interesting, lukpcn!
What kind of music software do you use?
Did you also write a score or did you just programme it, because the orchestration seems quite developed in several parts? (My compliments!)
There's surely a great amount of mood changes in this piece. Is it written for a computer game?
Best regards from composer to composer |

Yeah, the demo reel is a bunch of fragments of my tracks composed using midi and sequencers... no need to prepare a score of it yet... no purpose for doing it... some of the cues are from games and some from stand-alone pieces |

Just looked at your homepage, it's really fascinating.
I withdraw the question about the orchestration, didn't know you're a finished studied composer.
Sorry for the missunderstanding of mine. |

I have neve studied 'composition' but i've done 12 years of music school, I've played violin, viola and piano. |

Well, if that's so I'm even more impressed.
Also started as an auto-didact, but now I'm in my 2nd semester studying composing at the university for music and arts in Vienna. (Play piano, organ, and since last fall the clarinet...)
Nevertheless it's impressive work.
I'm still a little conservative with the writing process (writing the score, I mean).
But that's because I lack the skill and experience in computer programming, maybe I'm going to learn that too someday. |

Hey lukpcn,
Nice work. I also like your orchestration, and I think you have done a good job with the percussion. You seem to have a good range of colors you are comfortable with. Depending on how sophisticated your setup is, you might try adjusting the string articulations a bit. With some tweaking, you might be able to make them sound more realistic.
Overall, very nice. Keep it up! |

Nice music. I like how you've distinguished yourself by applying your own particular style to your composition and arrangement. A little too much percussion for my personal tastes, but I like it quite a bit. I wish you the best of luck in your search for games and movies in need of scoring! _________________ "Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens, makes her a home."
