Well along with the Question topic, I thought I'd add one...

What was the first soundtrack you owned? What one got you hooked?

Me? - well I'd have to say I started with musicals, but Disney soundtracks probaby started it.

I am sure it was disney for me as well. But if we are talking about somthing that I actually got, and something that was more instrumental. It would be BRAVEHEART... Still one of my top ten...

My first Soundtrack album was The Big Chill.

My first Mixed song and Symphonic was Disney's Aladin.

My first totally symphonic ST was Sci Fi channel's Greatest Hits Vol 1 Final Frontiers, which I will be donating to the Jeric and this site in the VERY near future.

My first "mixed" (symphonic & rock) album was Music From and Inspired By Spider-man (Danny Elfman + various artists)

Long before that, though, the first completely symphonic soundtrack that I bought, I think, was Jumanji (James Horner).

...Of course, much later on, upon discovering StreamingSoundtracks, I learned that all of Horner's other scores sounded almost exactly the same Very Happy

First Soundtrack: Angelo Badalamenti - Twin Peaks,
great series (terrible movie) with some nice creepy sounds.

First Soundtrack that inspired me to collect: The Braveheart Soundtrack by James Horner,
epic movie with an epic soundtrack.

Last soundtrack added: Joe Hisaishi - Princess Mononoke,
I'm in my Anime soundtrack period and love the scores by Hisaishi.

My First Soundtrack rather sounds like my first Sony....? Wink

hehe...my first soundtrack was Wayne's World.
It was followed shortly by the Star Wars scores.
These made me start paying attention to scores, and I'm better because of it, but I still like my Wayne's World soundtrack.

This is an easy one. Definitely the Last of the Mohicans. I've bought 3 copies of it because I keep messing up the others. Confused Anyway, if you haven't heard it, it is the best.

Definately Evolution. When I heard "The Fire Truck" here it definately got me hooked on soundtracks.

You guys DO help the economy, the RIAA should learn to back up.
