Hi JERIC!
The banner ads have been great, except 2 banners have sounds.
There's one about clicking the paparazzi and getting a PSP - It makes a camera shutter noise. The other is one for the smiley faces - It keeps asking you to click on it.
Other than that, they've been fine! Just thought I'd let you know _________________ "Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it." ~ Marshall McLuhan |

My thoughts exactly. I killed the paparazzi and he still came back making that weird sound. |

For the time being, a quick manual refresh seems to kill the ad. But it is just annoying to have things talking or clicking at you when you have your tunes playing.
I support any effort to make the site better, and I look forward to JERIC being able to continue to tweak the ads to bring money into SST allowing even further updates/enhancements.

I'm not bothered by the limited banner ads that VIPs have, HOWEVER, I do find the sound-banner ads to be VERY intrusive - especially since the reason we are here is to hear music. Refreshing is a good fix.
I support JERIC & SST and understand that revenue must be made for the site to continue growing and providing the high-quality service we all know and love. I would consider paying a little more with my VIP mem to eliminate all ads. _________________ "Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral" - Darth Vader, ESB |

Thank you all for your feedback. I have been disabling ads that are annoying or make sounds. I really do appreciate your patience. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Hey, how cool would it be if one of these adds was like a football add, or a sports add of some kind and when you rolled you mouse over it it shouted "score!"....
...maybe it would cool one time.... |

The ad about "her peas" (if you know what I mean and I think you do)...does that qualify as annoying? Either way I'm not sure it qualifies as family friendly.
