I think the Promise is a wonderful score by Badelt which should be added to the playlist. As many I think would agree, Badelt's best score thus far was The Time Machine and IMO I believe this score ranks right up there with that score. I have been playing the music a TON ever since I got it and listed it as one of my favorite scores of 2005 (it was released at the very end of 2005). Here is a link to listen to a few samples from the CD and here is a link of a review of the album:
Here is a picture of the cover art too:
Now several outlets are selling this CD for import prices (like in the $30 range) and this is a lot more than you need to pay. I personally bought mine from yesasia.com which from all of my research is a reputable online store. So for an addition to the playlist and anyone else who might be interested in purchasing this wonderful score here is the link at yesasia.com.

I would have voted just because I love Klaus Badelt, but I went ahead and listened to the examples first. Holy crap, I must say. From the samples I am deducing that this is one of Badelt's best scores. Just in a few 29-second samples I witnessed so much power, emotion, and wide range of musical styles that it has sent me scrambling to add the score to my birthday list. Please everyone take a look at this and vote for this score. It would be a wonderful and amazing addition to the SST archive. _________________ "Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens, makes her a home."

Not sure how this one slipped past me. There are several versions on Amazon. I will hunt it down.
Thanks Nate. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Thx Jeric for adding this score to the playlist, I think this is one of Badelt's best scores and think it will be an excellent addition to the playlist. I have been playing this CD a ton ever since Decemeber. |

I agree it's probably the best of Badelt's scores. Great addition. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,
