The Wind and the Lion (Jerry Goldsmith), in a vinyl record, for just 3 $. Actually, is a present for a friend of mine in Spain, so... _________________ Every man dies, but not every man really lives. W.W. |

Carlo Crivelli (composer for Il Principe di Homburg) can be a not-so-easy listening experience. He has a somewhat classical sound and I find similarities with Eliot Goldenthal with the string and brass lines (not really melodic and not dissonant either). Il Principe di Homburg is a good score but you'll need to be patient with how he develops the themes. Don't give up. Just crank up the volume a bit.
Track #8 Saluto Alla Luna is a fantastic piece, btw! |

This thread could almost be a weekly update for me .
Recently I have purchased:
Crow: Salvation by Marco Beltrami
Ruby by John Scott
Blood+ by Mark Mancina
Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys by Marco Beltrami
I Went Down by Dario Marianelli
Calendar Girls by Patrick Doyle
Chaplin by John Barry
and some others that are not coming to mind right now but that about covers it. |

I just received --
Portrait of a Lady - by Wojciech Kilar: a gorgeous soundtrack and
Le Roi et l'Oiseau - also by Kilar: unforgettable piano theme
I'm waiting for more CDs to arrive
I also consider to purchase Farewell to the King -- if I can find it for a good price in my area! _________________ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" - Blade Runner |
