This is an old classic, but I love this movie! Here is the Link if you would like to hear a sample of the music. Very Happy

Am I right in thinking that this was the first electronic score ever written for film?

I totally agree that this score should be added to SST simply because it's a classic film and the score should be here.

Whether or not it will get requested that much I'm less certain. The score is unique and certainly memorable and it brings back very fond memories of being terrified by the film when I was a youngster.

(sigh) Yes, I guess I have to agree that it should probably be on the playlist because of its historic nature.

BUT...

Don't get me wrong, I love the film. But I've listened to the score by itself, and didn't like it very much.

I agree with Hurr78 about his "BUT..." section.
I was really "impatient" to buy and to have
this music in my collection but because I was
very dispointed listening to it, it is shurely
not the first CD in my list that I would suggest
to add, anyway I voted Yes cause it is part of
soundtrack historya and electronic Music.
