|
Since you have the data available, I was wondering if there was any intereste in creating a Top 100 Album list based on the number of request (not just at the Song level).
As an off shot of this, what about a Top 100 Album list based on request limited to a floating 90 day request range?
I’m requesting this because I think it would be a good guide to album purchases. Like many on this site I have a nice soundtrack collection and am always looking for more. I think a 90 day list of most requested albums would be a good compass as to what is worth looking into. A “What’s Hot” if you will. The Top 100 Rated is nice, but does not give a floating reference of what people actually like. An album might have a good song or a bad song and people might focus in on those when they give it a rating, but a request chart at the album level places them on a more even playing field, as albums with many good tracks will be requested more often. In theory anyway.
Just a thought. |

I think it's a good idea.
But I must also add (just FYI on previous feedback) that you can find similar idea here: http://www.streamingsoundtracks.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2937&highlight= _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Sorry, I did not look back that far.
So, yes I agree with your suggestion. Consider this an elaborate bump.
