News, news, news...
There was a review of The Girl In The Fireplace episode in this weekend Sydney newspaper. They said it was "dazzling television" and "the complexity and brilliance of this unlikely piece of science fiction confection would warrant an entire essay.." I should write back that Nenners and I have already started.
I also heard that the plot of this episode is similar to a novel called The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Apparently a movie version was to be directed by Gus Van Sant, but that's all I know.
I was thinking of changing the title of this topic to The Official Doctor Who Fan Club Thread (to borrow shamelessly from Treebob's Hisaishi topic ) What do you guys and gals think? _________________ "After dark all cats are leopards." - Native American Proverb |

..and both these episodes and A Girl In The Fireplace from Season 2 were written by Steven Moffat. Give this guy more work!
Congratulations!
I guess also being a really intense Doctor has it's rewards.
Nate will be doubly happy. Serenity won the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form. Congrats to Joss Whedon! _________________ "After dark all cats are leopards." - Native American Proverb |

Nen, I finally saw all the episodes. I'm trying to imagine David Tennant using "self-restraint." It's like he has enough energy to power up a dozen TARDISes by sheer will alone.
I've been having way too much fun at the controls of this device. _________________ When all else fails, consider time travel.
