Maybe not so suited for the younger ones among us. You are warned: http://members.home.nl/b.linden/wk.JPG
At the bottom of this TV/movie channel (called 'Kanaal twee') ad it says (in Dutch / Flamish): "From the 9th of June. 4 weeks long, football." |

If you don't want to fill in the whole bracket with your predictions, how about some guesses on the semis and final? |

Your predictions are pretty sound, zirael. Thanks for having Australia make it through to the second round.
I'd love to see Australia replace Italy in your forecast. Be a dark horse like Korea in 2002.
My predictions for Australia in Group F:
Australia 2 Japan 1
Australia 1 Croatia 1
Australia 1 Brazil 2 _________________ "After dark all cats are leopards." - Native American Proverb |

Yeah, those Australia players were bruisers!
After watching Czech Republic trounce the U.S., I think the Czechs will go really far and make it to the semis. Now I don't think the Netherlands has enough offensive firepower to make it to the finals. My predictions are totally shot! |

I'm a fan of Brazil, although I don't really follow soccer. They're the only team that I can name more than one player from, so I go with them! |

So here is my plan
Semifinals
Argentina vs Czech Rep
Netherlands vs Brazil
Final
Argentina vs Brazil
World Champion = Argentina
3rd place = Czech Rep. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Ghana! Ghana! Ghana!
Wow! What a match against Czech Rep.!
Both teams played open game and as a result we had very entertaining match.
I feel a bit sorry for Czech team (with great goalkeeping and a red card they looked a little like Polish team against Germany) but on the other hand I am very impressed by Africans.
I hope both Czech and Ghana teams can get to the next round at the expense of boring Italy. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,
