Hey, EventHorizon, welcome to the boards!
Is there any track in particular you hate, or just the whole shebang. Why? I personally don't like "Wunderkind," only because the singer can't pronounce the title word correctly. Didn't like the movie either; that probably has something to do with me not caring either way about the ST. |

Some things just can't be explained... they must be felt.
Maybe it's that same visceral loathing that strikes me when I hear certain stuff... _________________ "Welcome to the paranoia club; cheapest fees in the universe and membership lasts forever."

I'd have to say that dreams we dream song from the never ending story II is a real killer for me....and somehow it seems to get played a lot too. The techno 80's ness of it just.....erksome! _________________ The right song can turn an emperor into a laughing stock, can bring down dynasties. I found myself loathing James Newton Howard's PETER PAN more and more. Yes, there are nice cues. I guess I just hate the "flying sequence" because of the '80s ring to it.
THE 80s?!?!?
HOOK by John Williams remains the best of the Peter Pan film scores! _________________ "I'm Batman" |

*reviving this thread*
I love Final Fantasy Music, as I played nearly all incarnations of this fabulous game series and remember it when I hear the music...
However, there is one track I can't stand...
"Eyes on me". Bwahrgh. Final Fantasy 8, finally introducing CD quality tearjerker. Even worse is the End Theme - additional fives minutes of "Eyes on me". And I requested it once... oh, I was so ill-advised... |

I saw it was mentioned earlier but it bears repeating - The Schniztel Song and Be Prepared from Hoodwinked. I can't find the mute button fast enough for those songs.
I also really dislike many of the old time musicals like Oklahoma!, My Fair Lady, The Music man, West Side Story, and Fiddler on the Roof. My reason, I was in them. After having to sing the songs and watch the plays (as well as the movies for reference) as many times as I did, I got sick of them.
I also can't stand the majority of the Tracks on the album "Japanese Story" the music is so repetitive that it makes me go "find another theme already." It doesn't help that I disliked the movie and the characters in the movie.
However I find that it is the diversity on SST that makes it a great site. I've found albums that I wouldn't have listened to before. And ones I am happy never to hear again ^_^ |

First, thanks for reviving the thread. Always room for more hate.
Second, thanks for Bwahrgh. I can't define it, but I know what it means, and that's the most creative spelling of the concept I've ever seen. |

For me the worst part of a movie or the moment when I start to hate the scene is when somebody suddenly start "singing" eewww...! (like "The sound of music" "Mary poppins" there are more i suppose) but obviously there are exceptions like Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Hot Shots 1, Mulholland Drive... |

One of the earliest scores I bought was Red Heat. In those days I bought scores without having SST to preview them and Red Heat was one of the first I bought without knowing it at all. Big mistake. I think I listened to the whole score once through. In the loft collecting dust right now. I just didn't get it. Perhaps I should go back and try again... |
