Would love to see somewhere a countdown/timer for the wait before I can request another track. The wait is usually two to three hours when I'm listening but I would love a personal timer, ie. Only 38 minutes until you can request again ... |

From what I have heard that's a VIP only thing.
And I don't think that will change, but never say never. _________________ The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on Flying: The knack of throwing yourself at the ground and miss.

Yes, this is a perk of being a VIP member.
Some people write the time down in the Comment section of their request as a reminder to themselves.
I can see the timer, of course, but I still own several kitchen timers and an alarm wrist watch to remind me when my request (or others) will play. A Post-It on the forehead helps, too. |

Well, one of the greatness of SST's new features is that under the Community menu, there is a link to your last 100 requests, including the one you made five seconds ago. That way, you know exactly when you requested, and how much time you have left. That is, if you can do the arithmetic. I assume nothing. |

Last night I read about the last 100 requests which is great. It wasn't until today that I connected the last 100 request in relation to when I could request again. Guess I was a little tired last night. While I would still like a timer on SST, post its or a watch don't seem to work for me, I am capable of doing the math from the last 100 requests list.
It's all so much easier now. |

A timer is available on SST, to VIPs only. I don't expect that to change.

Great, mn! And thanks again, LadyInque.
The reason I use timers is because I can hear them wherever I am in the house (or the office, as the case may be). |

Just a thought, and not sure it would be worth the trouble...
Something I find myself doing quite a bit is trying to figure up the time remaining until the song I requested plays... Especially in longer queues...
It's also entirely possible I didn't read how to do this in the how-to manual, but if this exists, could someone point me to it? If not, is it worth looking at? Does anyone else do this?
Again, just a thought...

I don't believe that the ...er.....organization that wants to regulate the music industry..... allows us to pinpoint the exact time your request will play. You'll just have to check out the queue time before you request and work out the answer from there.

Yeah, I figured it was something like that... But you never know till you ask.
Thanks
