I have to say, that after yesterday's episode, I'm baffled. I'm not quite sure what to think now. Everything suddenly took a turn to the absurd. The Others have a village and were living their ordinary lives (it seemed) until the plane came crashing down (awesome effect, btw).
I saw a Video Podcast with Damon Lindelof and some other dude (TwoPop; care do give us the link?  ) where they said that this would be a season of answers. I hope they start pretty soon, because I've got questions from here to Long Island.

Why do we need so many answers? Questions are more fun. Questions expand the series into a 4th, and then a 5th season. Wasn't it Matthew Fox who said, "sure it could last 7, maybe 8 seasons?"
During the season premiere, I kept yelling at the television screen, "PUNCH HIM! PUNCH HIM NOW!" And then Jack seemed to respond to that! Is that interactive television, or what?

I was visiting some old friends who are LOST fans, and as such, the Season 3 Premiere is the very first episode I've ever seen.

15-min podcast with exec producers Damon Lindelof & Carlton Cuse talking about Season 3: Oct 4 "A Tale of Two Cities". (I don't know how long that link will point to that specific podcast tho.)

It would seem there's a lot you missed if you don't know where the boat came from. I'd find season 2 on DVD quick.

Are the spoiler tag really neccesarry in this thread? The entire thread is a season 3 spoiler so I think the spoiler tag is a bit redundant
So who thinks Jack will agree on what Benjamin Linus has him do? I think he might to be able to get back home, so that he can start a rescue party.
