Actually, I find the Hurley episodes to be a little cheesy, but I do love the Locke episodes, as he is my favorite character.

I'm lookin forward to next week, we finally get some answers! Smile

Btw, concernin last night's episode:

Spoiler:
Why do you think Jack was obviously having a good time among the Others/Hostiles? Has gone over to their side? Is it just a charade? Does he really believe they can send him home? Can they?

I know, I know, lotsa questions, but just wanted to know your guys theories/ideas.

Spoiler:
As for Jack, I have two ideas.
1. "They" know our team with Kate and others are there and it is a fake scene we all see.. they can do anything ya know.
2. Jack has been washed from head to toe inside and out! "They" made him happy with his captivity and the lady, his keeper, and all is well. OH and maybe someone from his past is there and they are happy.

Ya just do not know what "they" can do.

Now about Anna Nicole Smith... I think.. whoppps wrong channel!!!

Makes me want to go back to season one and see what points have come to pass. Like when Claire went to the person about having her baby. Who was that? and what did he/she say? Has it come to pass?
I need a refresher course!

Cinder, wasn't that psychic back in Season 1 who told Claire that she must raise her child, then quickly changed his prediction and told her to give the child to a couple in the States the same psychic who openly told Ecko he was a fraud?

Speculation: It wasn't been explained why the psychic changed his advice. If we accept his claim that he is a fake to be true, then there must be logical, valid reasoning behind his change of mind other than pure whim or extra-sensory perception. It is possible he was made aware of some couple unable to have children of their own wanted to adopt and made the arrangement with Claire as either a favor or "finder's fee" to assumed couple. But what if this psychic lied to Ecko? So many questions, so many possibilities Smile this show rules.

On to more recent events,

Spoiler:
What the heck was that barrier surrounding the Other's compound? And how about Locke's testing of the barrier? Any thoughts on that?

Spoiler:
I really liked what Locke did to that russian guy. He and Russeau was right: The others wouldn't have exchanged Jack for him.

But what I can't understand is, why didn't the group just make a run for it? It was clearly a sonic defense, and it took several seconds before it was fully activated. Couldn't they have just run as fast as they could so that they got out of range of the fence?

I really hope we get to see more about the others camp next episode, though, and that they don't wait 5 episodes until we get back to the group (in standard Lost fashion)

ok, my pop culture wiring must've shortcircuited. I knew Locke's father looked familiar but just realized its Roy Desoto from Emergency! Laughing

This is a neat video of Lock. Someone has started to draw him and how it changes.
Pretty neat.

Spoiler:
Lindelof and Cuse addressed this in a podcast after being asked by a fan. They compared it to running through a burning building. Would you really want to risk it just because it appeared you might get through - especially if, all along, you could just go around it? ... or in this case, over it ...

Spoiler:
It's rare for them to kill off characters that have made themselves deserving of it. There's something poetic about being buried alive like that! lol

Pertaining to Wed episode...

Spoiler:
While it was a decent episode (Seeing Boone and Arzt was cool, Shannon can die.... oh wait, she did. Even better!) I just don't like them giving the "NPC's" their own backstory. At least they were in the same one but come on. At first I was like... ok they're both dead, who's having the flashback? LOL. Please be dead though. I don't want them to come back. Never liked them in the first place. Don't introduce new characters when we still have no idea what's going on with anyone else. Charline telling Sun that it was him was cool... finally!
