Okay, now trying to describe an ST in writing should be interesting, but here goes...
I heard an ST the other day and don't know what it is. I've heard it before on SST as well.
I think it's from a film based in historical China or Japan.
It is very dramatic and at one point on the track I heard, there sounds like a large group of warriors practicing. You hear "Yah!" and "Hah!" making the piece very impressive.
I thought it was from The Last Samurai, but can't find the track on my copy.
Anyone have any idea what I am talking about??

I'd say it was The Huns Attack from Mulan by Jerry Goldsmith. It was played yesterday and the ST has some SFX from the movie in it.

My only guess would be also Red Warrior from The Last Samurai...

Yep I am gonna agree with Cal and molossus, I think the track you are referring to is 'Red Warrior' from The Last Samurai. One of my favorite tracks from that album as well, so much power behind the music!

I'll have to listen to it again, as well as Mulan.
It's definitely not from Hero. I have that one and love it!

Probably not Mulan. My copy, at least, doesn't have SFX on it.
