|
We will be implementing a new VIP system soon. You all may not notice a lot of change but there is going to be a lot on our end. Existing VIPs will not lose their status. There may be some bugs however. I'll leave this open so you can report them here. But this is what we have to look for!
New Features
- Monthly VIP $4.99!!!
- Yearly VIP $49.99
- Instant/automatic access after signing up via PayPal.
- VIPs Only Forum
- Sending Gift Certificates, Money Orders, Cash, Checks, etc. will be accepted.
- Live365 VIPs WILL not be transferable any more. I was going to give a 50% discount but due to recent events with their marketing/billing I have put this on hold until they come up with a better solution for us Live broadcasters.
Things Going Away
- Donation Meter
(I know many of you like this but we may bring it back for special fund raisers.)
- Elite Forum
(Maybe some of you didn't know it was there?)
Possible Changes
- We may raise the request wait times for non-VIPs. We were going to eliminate non-VIP requests totally because of possible technical limitations, and well, we want more VIPs! _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I understand certain changes are necessary, but how will this "extended waiting time" for non-VIP's turn out?
It's 3-4 hours already as soon as the queue is longer than 1,5-2 hours.
More VIP's sounds good, I still need to become one, but due to some budget restraints it wasn't possible for me yet... (seems I have to wait till Christmas )
But can SST only exist as "the VIP"-channel, excluding anybody else or did I misinterpret something? |

I said we may, not will. Depends on how it goes so we're playing it by ear. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

*points at self* Im a VIP, and a happy one!!
Maybe some wants to become VIP but cant bacause they are poor students or unemployed.. wouldnt it be nice if they could pay less..
Its good though to be able to pay each month, maybe an easier way to get more VIP's, but still SST wont know from month to month how many will pay .. maybe a system where u sign up for one year but pay monthly would also be a good idea?
anyway.. I wanted to know how it works with the donations.. If I pay to become a VIP that money goes to same place as when I spend money?
I just want to know how much one is supposed to spend to be "normal" (Im so happy Im normal you know, hehe)
A VIPforum sounds interesting. And I also think VIP should maybe have another colour in chat, like red.(cos its my fav. color )
Ok, Over out and good luck with the changes!

I like all the future modifications Jeric. Soon when I 'll be able to have sufficient time to enjoy SST I'll again become a VIP, until then I weep. _________________ ben

Sorry, I don't understand that. Can you explain that?

We tried that and it didn't go ever too well. It created too much segregation in the community. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

Yes, it makes the poor feel bad Angel.
Jeric, I am fine with this, as I understand you are not out to make a buck just trying to keep the station up.
"If" non-VIP's loose there request ability will we still have accounts? I am assuming but just thought I would check. _________________ Pixie "Actually Tree, I wasn't referring to you as a dingus, but seems like you might just qualify as one now!" |

You would still have accounts. How else would you chat and post in the forum?

Soon depends on when we can work the bugs out at Death.FM and when Chandler's schedule permits. The goal is this month but we'll try to give you dates when we know more. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

As of now we don't have plans not allowing non-VIPs to request. We still have some issues to work out before I can make any promises. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus
