So I bought Mario Kart Wii when it came out on Sunday.....it's great. If you liked any of the other MK titles, you'll love MKWii! I've only had a couple of hours to play with it, and haven't even tried the online version yet.
And the Wii-wheel, while seeming like a gimmick, is actually pretty cool and really adds to the game in my opinion. I just wish it wasn't $15 for extras.
Oh, and if anybody wants to play (and happens to be on when I am) you can try me at:

but I'll need your FC as well.

Glad you're enjoying it. We've had SM Karts for the SNES, GBA and DS and I always thought they didn't do enough to each upgrade to justify releasing it on a new format. Have they made it different enough j2?
Also, anyone on here got Wii fit? I haven't got a Wii but the idea of keeping fit playing video games appeals to me in an "I'm not interested in the real world" kind of scary way! |

I've played MK, SMK and MK64, and I think that Wii is as good as if not better, and that's without trying the online side. Most reviewers I've read say it holds its own in traditional play, and is great in online play. My favorite feature so far is of the 32 tracks I've run there's a mix of new and old. I love playing the old tracks. I'm surprised by the memories they hold for me.
And, Amazon has extra Wii Wheels for $9.99.
The Fit isn't available here yet, but I'm very interested in it. I've read a variety of reviews, and my general take from them is that it can serve effectively as an exercise program to a certain extent. Maybe as a supplement to an existing routine, or just be the "some" exercise in "some exercise is better than none."

Don't take it personally, lake. It's more likely laziness on my part. I'll try and correct the situation when I'm next Wiiing.

Oh, and is seems that there's a special Kart specific code you need, the regular friends code doesn't work for Kart. You can find me at:
