BTW: I've just noticed that we don't have "Joe Hisaishi Meets Kitano Films" album in the library anymore. Is it part of removing redundant tracks "campaign"? _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

I'm sure this has been said before, but it we're removing redundant tracks, then shouldn't everything by Philip Glass go, save maybe one or two tracks? |
ROTFL, Lady!

There is something strange with Bill Brown's 'Tom Clancy Suite' album when I look at the playlist (letter 'T') there is three time the same album: no1;
no2 and no3
It has got the same url and everything else is the same too. Only differece is that there are three different years: 1999, 2001 and 2002 in the playlist but in the album information is only 1999-2002 maybe that's the point of this bug.
I hope I explained it understandable (I didn't know how to explain it in the 'make a correction' module) |

Is your question why is 1 album listed 3 times in the playlist?
You are on the right track when you mentioned the 3 different years the games were released. JERIC prefers to have the year of the album match the year that the movie (TV show, game, etc.) was released rather than the year that the CD came out. Fortunately they are usually the same.
In this case there are 3 different years. The playlist program reads that information (music file tags) and posts it 3 times - once for each year. So no correction is needed. |

Thank you Twopop for explanation, now I know why is it happening sometimes. |

Well some tracks seems to be 1 second shorter / longer
And another artist is mentioned, but I think you are right, pridelander. So maybe an admin or JERIC can check it _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

I'll check with JERIC on this when he's free.
It seems like they are identical - both were digitally remastered but just have different covers. One is encoded in lossless, so we'll probably end up removing the other.
Will let you know. |

well, I'm not sure if this track was removed because of dublicity, but I'm missing the "Extreme Ways" track from Moby on the Bourne Ultimatum soundtrack. It's included on the Bourne Supremacy-Score but no hint in any direction. Also there is a hint on my cover on the Bourne Ultimatum, that this is a new remix and the inlay states this track was recorded (P) in 2007.
can't say if both tracks are identical, as I only have the Ultimatum score at home |

The tracks are different, but the Ultimatum was a "re-mix" and, in my opinion nowhere near as good as the one that appeared on Supremacy (which may not have been the original version either, but I don't know). Although not identical they were probably considered redundant.

Was the Ultimatum "Extreme Ways" ever in the playlist? (I did not remove it.) When I remove redundant tracks, I usually add a note about it in the Review section below the track list. |
