First let me say pila miya yelo tanka for including the sound track to Smoke Signals on the SST play list. When I first saw it in the queue I eagerly looked for "John Wayne's Teeth" but it was not in the track listing. I did check on amazon and saw that "John Wayne's Teeth" is on the cd.
Could you guys please add John Wayne's Teeth to the play list?
thank you.

Here is a link to the album on amazon where you can listen to the specific track that istagi is requesting:
Amazon: Smoke Signals
It would probably be helpful to have a poll as well so that members can cast their vote, but I will leave that up to the discretion of the original author of this post.
My personal view is that I don't think it is a good fit for SST since it is a vocal track, thus I am against its inclusion in the playlist. _________________ "My Logic is Undeniable" - I, Robot |

I figured you would be against it Nate. Your personal vendetta against me is showing again, and your logic is flawed.
anyway. There are many many many vocal tracks included on ST's on this site.
I guess that the major question would be, is the track important to the film?
That is a most definate yes. anyone who is a fan of the movie talks about the scene where John Wayne's Teeth is used. I have even been asked many times about where they can hear the actual song.

To be perfectly, brutally honest (...and even if I offend you, Istagi, sorry)... I don't really enjoy Native American (or pick your preferred term) music.
But that scene in the youtube clip was funny as heck. _________________ "Welcome to the paranoia club; cheapest fees in the universe and membership lasts forever."

Not offended at all. Indian music is very different. |

personally i think it would fit fine. it's like any other offkey track that we have on the site, like PANCAKES or forbidden zone. it's funny, gets people engaged and it represents a definitive moment in the film. ultimately it comes down to JERIC's opinion, but i think that's what the music on SST is supposed to do, represent and evoke the films. RELIVE THE PASSION and all that.
so uh yeah. _________________ <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tiffanyturrill/">Instagram</a>
