I have to say that I am looking forward to Zimmer's Pirates of the Caribbean 3 soundtrack, loved 1 and 2, an I reckon the third will be awesome.

I'm looking forward to see what Christopher Young's score to Spider-Man 3 will be like, and whether it will be as good as Elfman's scores.

It's interesting how Zimmer will deal with "The Simpsons".

Will there be Elfman's spirit in this score?
I hope so.

I was suprised about The Simpsons. many people thought Elfman would do it. or the guy that composes all the music for the individual episodes (can't remember his name). but Zimmer can pretty much do anything so i have faith he will do well!

Maybe Alf Clausen was busy, or not a big enough name to score a big-screen picture.

According to guys from www.hans-zimmer.com he will.
However I don't know what are their sources for this info.

I'm pretty sure he is from the Interview's I've read. He should be doing it with James Newton Howard again, but I don't think it is set to come out till 2008.

Like zirael mentioned it is a bit early for me to be looking ahead to those scores being released in 2007 but from her list these are the ones I am most looking forward to:

Partition - Brian Tyler
Ghost Rider - Christopher Young
Meet the Robinsons - Danny Elfman
Bourne Ultimatum - John Powell
His Dark Materials - Alexandre Desplat
Ratatouille - Michael Giacchino
Last Legion - Patrick Doyle

In addition I am looking forward to:
Beat the Drum - Klaus Badelt
Nomad - Carlo Siliotto

I was very impressed and happy with several scores from 2006 so I am hoping that 2007 impresses me just as much!

Curious on the next Pirates film as well. First was upbeat, second was more dramatic, so what's that leave for the third? Hmmm....

I don't know if this is my *most* anticipated, but I am really excited about 300 by Tyler Bates.

This movie looks just plain awesome! So, maybe I'm more excited about the movie in general than the music in particular, but the music promises not to dissapoint as well.

Well here is the cover art Luther which looks pretty cool, but the music I am not as sure about being that it is a score by Tyler Bates and he hasn't exactly done a score all that impressive yet. At this point, the movie is looking more impressive than the music but maybe Bates will surprise.

Plus here are some samples:

1. To Victory
17. Fever Dream
18. Xerxes' Tent

Here is another sample for Bates' website but doesn't match up to a track on the release:

Stand

Also if anyone is interested here is the Tyler Bates Website. Enjoy!

This score sounds really good. I missed it on today's update so it is uploading now. You'll be able to request it in an hour or so.
