The Official Forum for SSTers in New York City for the Ennio Morricone Concert
Dateline: February 3, 2007 - New York City
The long-anticipated week-end that so many SSTers have been looking forward to is finally here! Some arrived in New York a few days ago, more on Friday, but the majority will be here today.
This is truly a monumental event in the history of StreamingSoundtracks.com. Never before have so many SST members traveled from so far and wide to attend a concert together, and to meet each other in person for the first time.
Please use this new forum to share your personal stories of traveling to NYC, the pre-concert cocktail meeting and dinner, your thoughts about Morricone's works performed at the concert, and the fun and activities you had with your SST friends. Everyone wants to see pictures, pictures, pictures! Post them here or provide a link to your own album.
To mark this SST milestone, the magnificent graphic image above was designed and presented to StreamingSoundtracks as a gift from one of its members. This poster will be printed out and autographed by Maestro Ennio Morricone himself for StreamingSoundtracks.com. All SSTers in attendance will also be able to sign it, so please be on the lookout for it.
Now let the stories begin....

I have met Nate, Twopop, Cind,
Don and his wife, Zir, Phire,
her friend, Chandler, Sensei
and Han!! And this is only the
beginning!
Later, this afternoon, Fearless

some myths/rumors to debunk next week:
nate and petec are really the same person.
BuyerQueen forced wrabbit to drink tequila shots, or wrabbit's VIP membership would be revoked.
wrabbit willingly bought the limes for the tequila shots she knew she would willingly take.
JERIC was forced to remove his mask at the concert, b/c "this isn't some Zimmer 'shindig', young man." photos of an unmasked JERIC are available for a price. see phire.
pete was in bed with phire.
phire's hunt for Mr. Sexy was successful; Chippy stayed in Battery Park, not Central Park, as was previously suggested. see phire for photos.
scholarmatt and the ultimizer are the doublemint twins.
nate and wrabbit agreed on a number of things in the same night, and the world did not end.
pete is a moderately pleasant host of a party.
sensei started a pillow fight.
nate can't hold his liquor water and had to be cut off.
SST'ers Gone Wild!!! is the new video being made for SST's next fundraiser.

Full list of who all came to NYC (not just the Morricone part) and how did y'all swing his autograph for the poster? Did anyone get to meet him?

Well, what a night! I am getting
ready for the trip back, right
now but wanted to just let you
know what a fabulous time I had
and how impressed I was with
everyone I met; not to mention
the show. It is a testimony to
Jeric's perseverance and then

I had a fabulous time! It was so much fun meeting everyone and I already can't wait to do something like this again. Everyone was so much fun!
