Wrabbit, your pictures look like my back yard. I live on the other side of Pisgah National Forest in Tennessee, only we call it the Smoky Mountain National Park here.
I am glad you got to see our some of our tree's leaves changing. I did worry that our leaves would not look good this year since there was hardly any rain to speak of, but they ended up turning out okay. _________________ Just so everyone knows...according to the cracker barrel peg game, I am a genius. |

thanks guys.
fairy, it was gorgeous. i picked the trip for autumn when the temperatures would be cooler and also to hopefully catch some of the changing colors - in some places, there were colors all over. in other places, it was mostly green still. but regardless, it was beautiful everywhere. _________________ "I'm tired of trying to find happiness through lies and self-medicating. i'm actually at my parent's house for holidays, and i went this morning to the "Vercors" which is the west side of the alps, just 100 km south of Lyon.
It was white, the sun was shining, it was great !
I'll share some pics
First, the beginning of the ski tracks. With my dog on first plan
another view
Then, another picture of frozen snow on trees
Some vue of our mountains
And the misty valley of the Rhone !

All these pics would be great desktop backgrounds. Beautiful. _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |
