Very nice Pom!

Everytime I see photos from this area I think about that lucky guy - Alchemist! Smile

Pom those were stunning.. nice boots by the way.
Do folks have homes up there?
To think I know someone who has been to the photos I only ever seen in books.
That is just too awesome!

I have lots of great photos to post from my Christmas adventure to California and back. Those will come when I get home and can edit them on my machine.
However, here is one for now. It is something I truly enjoy doing, meeting the folks I type to.

Here now is Mr. Dufrense and a report.

I was so delighted he accepted my lunch offer back some weeks ago. I let him choose of course as he lives there and is the worker man. We went to a nice place and had good food. But who cares what ya eat really when you get to meet someone you have typed.
Good thing we got there early, I say we, as it is my travel buddy who a few have met, Tim, who was with me and took the photo. The place filled up fast.
Duf arrived came in had a look about, and walked out. Now you have to remember one of the biggest challenges in meeting SST folks is who are they and what do they look like?
No worries I just called out, his real name, and sure enough it was he!
We chatted about SST of course, families, and work. He was kind enough to show off a terrific photo of his wife and two children. It was great. He is soft spoken and full of knowledge. We laughed at how we got got started in sound track music. He has it way over me. He knew composers of movie music way back at about 9 years old. Once a movie music geek always a MG!!!
Then all too soon he had to dash. His boss knew he ducked out early and would be late back from lunch. I think we could have talked a bit longer about music. But alas, we posed and it was over.
Thanks so much Dufrense for letting me have some time. I am honored.
I behaved myself and got a hug. Here we are just before we parted company.

What a terrific write-up, Cind. It was almost like being there. Great pic, too.

I hope some of us get a chance to meet Duf, and pick his brain about movie music in the near future as well. Smile

Thanks!

OK friends... let's just keep an eye on Han's requests. Cool
If we notice him doing them out of alphabetically order, it's time for tough love and getting him into rehab. Wink

We love ya, FH!!
