Found this powerful video. Thought others might like to see it as well. Such a great kid, and Dad. I have had friends involved in the current war, it hits close to home, even though they were not my "Dad". Can't imagine what that must be like to have someone that close, gone for so long, so far away.

Warning, don't click unless you want to cry.

Well it was pretty close to home, really!
We saw the tape a lot around here, so I went from tears to smiles.
The only thing is so many dads come home and this one really got it all. Where I live we deploy 1,000s of soldiers.
They all deserve a fun trip with their family. _________________ A good sound track will let me relive the movie, I can cry over them as well. Hand me the tissues...please. |

Well... I didn't precisely cry, but the video was touching. _________________ "Welcome to the paranoia club; cheapest fees in the universe and membership lasts forever."

Agreed, it would be awesome if they all could have such treatment. They are gone for so long, my friend was over for 16 months, came back for 8 and then went back for another 12. As nice as it was for him to be back those few months, he said it made it REALLY hard to leave his family and the comforts of the US and head back over.

I've seen literally hundreds of movies, and have only shed tears at two or three. (No, I'm not saying which ones!)
This video made me tear up, jbarta.
Maybe because I have little ones of my own now... _________________ "If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.... I get most joy in life out of music."

Well, I cried like a baby. This was very touching to me. I am so very glad he made it home safely. _________________ I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music.
