There seems to be something fishy going on with the Forum Search function.
I was trying to find the Parental Advisory thread, and so searched for words like:- family
- friendly
- parental advisory
- parental
- offensive
Each search failed to bring up the thread I was looking for, or in the case of the last three, came up completely empty. I finally just browsed the forums and found it easily because it was stickied (duh). But still, it seems the search should have found it... right?

As Support Team Leader of the people responsible behind the bulletin board engine that you use, I feel I have to step in.
I have no problems at all with the search in terms of it working. Performance can be a bit of a pain when on really large websites, but it does work.
However, I think it is less a problem with phpBB and more with phpNuke. phpNuke changed a lot of our code, and it isn't really "ours" anymore in terms of how much is still our code. I think that's part of the problem there. _________________ How many people get to have their own symbol just for them? ™ |
