Thanks for the post Furyen. You might want to have a poll so that people can vote on the potential addition.
For my curiousity, is their any singing on this CD or is it all instrumental? |

There's just one or two tracks that has vocals in it, track 3 and 10 I believe. 95% Instrumental.
Yeah...I'm not much of poll fan. But I'll put one in. _________________ "Two wrongs do not make a right, but three rights make a left"

Since this already has the Phantom of the Opera title heading on it, I figured I'd mention this here...
I know there's a movie soundtrack with much the same music as the original cast soundtrack. To be honest though, I don't know how the guy that plays the Phantom landed that role... To my ears, he really destroys the music. There is an album out there by the original cast (Michael Crawford, Sarah Brightman, etc...) that is much easier to listen to
I'm wondering if we could add that? Or even substitute it and call that the movie soundtrack? Again, just a thought... I know I'm one of the really new guys on the scene.

Good suggestion, ARFD, but I suspect that the fact that it's not the actual soundtrack, combined with the negative reaction to musicals that is often expressed here, don't bode well for it being added.

*sigh* Yeah... It's possible, although I was hoping for a reprieve on this one as I see things played from this album more often than others...
Maybe it's just me, and maybe I'm just remembering a theme day...
I dunno, it was worth a shot.

Look out, ARFD6, that's King Leonidas you're talking about.
Personally, I don't care for either guy. Michael Crawford will never be forgiven for ruining Dance of the Vampires on Broadway.
Have to listen to some clips from this Segal ST, though. |

Hey, I didn't say he couldn't fight... Just said he couldn't sing... There IS a difference you know...
And ya know, I never said Crawford could dance either... *sigh*
I just wish people would stick to what they're good at...
OK, Line up, Leonidas, you get in with the fighters... no singing for you... Michael, you get in with the singers... no fighting or dancing for you... NO! Just singing... Sheesh!
This is impossible!

You know, Ultimately, this soundtrack ain't that bad. I'm sure everyone here could pick one they would like less. I'll vote yes. _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |
