Glory is my favorite. Mostly becuase it never gets old and it takes me back to the movie. What a beautiful soundtrack to a very powerful movie. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

I don't know.. I just can't pick a favorite.. I really like the theme to Gattaca but most people don't seem to like it. Maybe it was overplayed in the past? Er... I don't know. |

We saw and got a lot of shouting WYSIWIG, please check your CAPS LOCK KEY!
Anyway, not to suck op to Jeric or anything, but Glory is amongst my favorites too. Other soundtracks I like are Crying Freeman, Braveheart, Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves and Bad Boys
The Imperial March I think is a pure stroke of genius, and I think the entire soundtrack of Star Wars is very good too.

Jurassic Park is my favourite because of its two equally memorable and majestic themes: one featuring the wailing trumpet and the other featuring lush, soft strings. It goes perfectly with the movie too.
E.T.: the Extra-Terrestrial is a very close second because of its magical touch. The flying theme is wonderful; and the Escape/Chase/Saying Goodbye track has to be the single best track of any movie, featuring all forms of emotion.
Apollo 13 is third because it is both heroic and haunting at the same time.
Schindler's List and Star Wars are great also, and come 4th and 5th respectively. _________________ My top 5 soundtracks:1. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial2. Jurassic Park3. Apollo 134. A.I. Artificial Intelligence5. Forrest Gump |

Like anything some sound tracks grow on you for whatever reason. They take you back to a different time or place..some memory. For me, its Blade Runner. It has such a wide variety that I can listen to again and again. _________________ "Now, listen up you primitive screwheads!" "This is my BOOM STICK, you got THAT!" |

Well, here is my list, but in no such order...
I love Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissor Hands, Beatlejuice, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, (James Horner Stuff), Back to the Future, and Final Fantasy (all the video games)...
And above all, for some reason, The Real Ghostbusters Cartoon, though I've never seen a soundtrack for it...
But really, there is so many...how can I just pick one... _________________ Isnt it funny? This feeling inside... |

I also have several but here's a shortened list: AI, especially near the end when it gets sad before picking up a bit at the very end. Also Star Trek, Star Wars, and all the soundtracks by Vangelis I've thoroughly enjoyed, but they're more in the musical cd category than soundtrack/score category, to me at least. Back to the Future cause it's easy to hum that famous and familiar tune , The War Zone, Castaway, Saving Private Ryan, Contact, and how can I forget Lord of the Rings? Also, the others by John Williams, James Horner, and their contemporaries... well so much for my shortened list huh?
And is it just me or does the above sound like an oscar thank you speech? hmmmmm. |

I can't come up with one soundtrack that is my favorite. I mean, I like Star Wars, and Back to the Future, and Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Schindler's List, Sling Blade, etc....
Anything by John Williams is cool. The one for Minority Report is really good. _________________ Mitch S Brown |
