How about a day where the composer queue lock gets turned off? That day, you can request any track from any composer regardless if they're in the queue. _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |

It would make requesting a lot easier.
But it would also mean SST is breaking DMCA rules.
So unfortunately, I don't think it will happen. _________________ The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on Flying: The knack of throwing yourself at the ground and miss.

I didn't know that DMCA rules has restrictions of playing two different soundtracks of the same composer within a certain period. But I do not know the details of these rules. _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

Does that mean you're not free enough? _________________ The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on Flying: The knack of throwing yourself at the ground and miss.

At least sometimes I feel like it... in musical way... (long story short, being a contemporary composer in Europe can be quite difficult sometimes because of so many ideologies...)
But actually I just like the motto! _________________ If our music survives, which I have no doubt it will,

Is there any way you could maybe post a sticky forum post with a quick reference of the relevant DMCA rules? I keep getting stuck _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |

The Request Rules on the request page are derived from the DMCA rules:
* You may not request any artist that is already in the queue.
* You may not request any album that is already in the queue.
* The queue always runs at a minimum of an hour to enforce not being able to hear your request within 1 hour.
You can also try to decipher the DMCA itself, but then I wish you good luck Seriously, you will find similar rules on all webradios that comply to the DMCA.
Hope this helps _________________ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe" - Blade Runner |

When the DMCA rules first went in everyone here was very upset and frustrated. However, we quickly discovered the advantage was that more variety was requested. It may seem frustrating to you if you really like one composer, but there is so much you can be introduced to here. I discovered Joe Hisaishi and E S Posthumus. Where else would I have had such an opportunity?!
