I thought of something!
Not sure if there's a similar topic elsewhere in this or another forum, but I thought why not make a list of soundtrack recordings for Film, TV, and Games that we would probably NEVER see - at least not in our lifetime.
It may sound corny since others petition for score releases or hunt for unofficial releases (to be politically correct) of scores to their favorite films etc. Still, it may be fun.
We'll see if this catches on . . . I'm first!
I'd love to see a release of "The Best of" or "Volume I" for
Batman: The Animated Series by Shirley Walker. She is totally underappreciated in the film music community.
And how about a Conan The Barbarian (Complete Score and Digitally Remastered) by Basil Poledouris!! Who knows, it may be in the works =D

Amen! I know I posted somewhere that I want the Batman Animated (and Justice League) Series to get a score album. And there were some great orchestrations of Walker's theme in Batman Beyond. Sigh... I'm just dreaming, I know. |

Not sure if anyone is familiar with THE HIRE: BMW FILMS.
Those are cool films and I'd like to see an album compliation of the different scores composed for the series.

I think you're talking about the Best Unreleased Scores discussion, which is quite similar  |
