My daemon is a Gibbon named Theonilla. Apparently I'm modest, spontaneous, dependable, assertive, and outgoing.
It seems like an OK match to me, though, since reading the book, I've imagined my daemon to probably be a bird of prey, perhaps a Bald Eagle. Still, monkeys are cool.

Well, as it turns out, I did not end up getting a daemon for Christmas. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
However, I did the next best thing. In honor of my daemon, an ocelot named Pardalion (the quiz gave me a decent animal, but a lousy name; see my post above.), I donated some money to adopt the ocelots at my local zoo. Today I got my Zoodoption certificates, complete with pictures of those beautiful creatures. Apparently, there are two of them, named Isidoro and Rio. Come Spring, I shall have to go visit them. |
