Just saw this film last night. I'm not a big Woody Allen fan, but I often like his movies. This is my new favorite of his, easily. I am a big Colin Farrell fan and I must say (along with all the critics) that he delivers a great performance and a new personal best.
The score is by Philip Glass whom many of you love for last year's "Notes on a Scandal." That score should've won Best Score at the Oscars if you ask me. The score for "Cassandra's Dream" is very similar and full of tension. A heavy use of strings adds to the suspense.
If you liked "Notes on a Scandal" (and how can you not!), you'll love this.
It should be nominated at this year's Oscars on it's own merit and to make up for "Notes on a Scandal" not winning last year.
It's available on iTunes USA and for a fairly cheap import on Amazon. I'll be buying it and I hope SST does too.
