Known issue
There is a problem with names and titles containing non-ascii characters (like é, æ and ö)
These characters and up to 3 characters folowing these characters don't show in the Google Desktop gadget. |

The Google applications have gone wonky, I suspect due to recent changes to the 'Now Playing' banner. Here are screenshots, so you can see what I mean:

Sorry for the late reply, as I was on a well deserved holiday without internet access.
These problems are related to the update of the now playing banner.
As for the google gadget, I released a new version, which uses the developer API created by Chandler.
I will fix the iGoogle gadget as soon as I have time tomorrow.

*edit*
Gadget for iGoogle is also fixed, but it can take a few hours until the cache of Google picks it up. This gadget does not use the developer API yet, so any change of the now playing bar can break it again.
